 In
the heart of Milan there is small studio founded in 1944 that bears the
initials MVA, and it is in this place that we shall find Maria Vittoria
Albani; a designer of unusual and splendid jewelry. Petite, elegant, and
immensely creative, Maria’s creations speak to pure craftsmanship; for each
piece is made by artisans whose skillful hands do all the work that
ultimately bring to life an array of eye-catching finery that seem to
whisper real luxury.
Maria’s design career spans decades and in recognition of her contribution
to this art form the crystal maker Swarovski commissioned pieces that the
fashion house then showed in key museums throughout Europe. Today, Maria
chooses to work with a select few, designing collections that enhance
fashion trends; but what she loves to do is draw on her gift as an artist to
express with élan the very essence of the art of adornment.
Faux pearls, a variety of brightly colored stones, Venetian glass, and
enameled flowers, fruit and butterflies, all these materials combine to
create the pieces that make up this debut collection; one that reflects so
perfectly our mission to ignite the beauty that dwells within you! |
