The Italian Collection Mission
Posted by Myriam
For better or worse, the recent economic crisis has managed to do what no single designer could: refocus our attention on value rather than conspicious consumption. I read the following recently that really resonated with me, and I paraphrase, "Real luxury is a balance between quality and the affection you feel for an object that cannot be easily replicated. We have seen so much flamboyance and extravagance from so many designers, that I feel focusing on craftsmanship and striking a reasonable price is the right approach". I quote Zanini, one of the new designers at Rochas.
We at the Italian Collection mirror these very words, as this is our mission, to import the best of Italian fashion by designers who have never compromised their belief and vocational calling of being an artisan. We stand for incredible workmanship at accessible prices! I invite you to look for yourself, and let me know what you think.
